Editor's Note
Although the exact date of construction is unknown, the building is accepted to have been built during the reign of the Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Kilic Arslan II. The single surviving wall fragment was also removed in 2015. Cemaleddin Aksarayi received his medical training and practiced medicine at this hospital. The hospital's brick materials were taken by the Aksaray Municipality in the 1950s and used elsewhere.
