Editor's Note
According to its construction inscription, Alibey Mosque was commissioned in AH 1095 / AD 1681 by Ali, son of Yulad. Another inscription belonging to the building is located on the mosque's minaret. According to the minaret inscription, AH 1117 / AD 1703, the minaret was built by Kapıkıran Mehmet Pasha 22 years after the mosque.
