The Fatih Mosque in Develi's Aşağı Everek neighborhood is an Armenian church built in 1828 in the name of Saint Surp Toros. After the Armenian community no longer remained in Develi, it was left abandoned for a long time, then restored by the General Directorate of Foundations and converted into a mosque in 1978. During the restoration, the frescoes of the Virgin Mary and the cross to the left of the mihrab were concealed and covered over with plaster. The mosque has a high dome that optimizes acoustics and air flow. The pulpit (minber) and the mihrab are made of marble, and above the entrance door is verse 103 of the Surah An-Nisa.
