Editor's Note
According to the Latin-script text on the marble inscription to the right of the entrance door of the Hacı Mavuş Ağa Mosque, the building was constructed in 1813. However, various repairs and restorations carried out by local people over time have taken the mosque far from its original architectural appearance.
