Editor's Note
The Güzelöz Underground City lies on the hillside to the northwest of the old settlement of Güzelöz Village, in the Yeşilhisar district, about 80–100 metres from the village. In this two-storey underground city, the collapsed opening used today is not the original entrance; the true entrance is a tunnel—defended by a stone door—at the back wall of a three-room house carved into the rocky cliff about 40 metres above this collapse.
