Editor's Note
The mosque is located in the village of Doğala, in the Derinkuyu district. According to its building inscription, it was commissioned in AH 1282 / AD 1866 by Râsim Ağa, the Chief Eunuch of the Imperial Harem (Dârüssaâde Ağası). The mosque's architect is unknown. As building material, dressed cut stone was used for the door and window jambs, while rubble stone was used for the other sections.
