Editor's Note

Of unknown construction date, the mosque underwent a thorough restoration in 1953, particularly of its roof and outer walls. It has lost much of its originality. Square in plan and flat-roofed, the mosque is entered through the porch. The prayer hall is covered with a flat reinforced-concrete ceiling. The mihrab is tall and wide relative to the size of the building, and plain in appearance. The mosque is plastered with plain concrete mortar. The windows on the lower floor are rectangular, while those on the upper floor have rounded arches.
