Editor's Note
At the junction of Mustafa Kemal Paşa Avenue and Mimoza Street in Camiatik neighbourhood, this fountain is built of cut stone. Located on plot 62 of block 4141, it occupies a registered area of 3.23 m². Nothing is known about who commissioned it; because its water spout is in the form of a lion's head, it is called the Aslanlı Çeşme (Lion Fountain). Its basin is of stone. A second basin, into which the overflow from the first pours, stands right beside the fountain. This addition is likewise carved from stone.
