Editor's Note
Because Barbaros Village suffered from water shortages in the past, a great many wells were built here. These wells are clustered in particular parts of the village such as fields and squares. Named after the people who built them or the areas where they stand, the wells met the villagers' water needs for a very long time. No longer used much since the arrival of mains water, these cultural assets have today become a striking spot for visitors. Beyond the clustered wells at this point, many similar well sites are scattered throughout the village.
