Built on an east-west axis, the church has no narthex. The interior is arranged as three naves, divided by a total of six stone columns in two rows of three. The central nave is wider than the others. The columns carry round arches springing between one another on the east-west axis and onto the walls on the north-south axis. The side and central naves are covered with barrel vaults, while the space in front of the apse is covered with a cross vault. On the cross-vaulted surface there are acanthus leaves, crosses, and various figural depictions, though the decoration is faded. Armenian inscriptions can be seen on the apse arch.
