Editor's Note
Dating to the mid-13th century BCE, this relief lies 78 km from Kayseri, near the village of Gümüşören in the Develi district. Carved as a wall panel, it depicts two separate offering scenes. The relief was first mentioned by A. H. Sayce in 1880. It is 1.3 meters high and 3.2 meters long. The scene on the right shows the Hittite king Hattusili III pouring a libation to the Storm God. Before the king is written "Great King Hattusili" (MAGNUS.REX HATTI + li).
