He once came to Aydin and set up a brick factory here, and the neighborhood was named after him. This notable figure had this house built in the 1940s as one of the largest in his neighborhood. It is one of the rare examples of Republican-era civil architecture. Following the multi-storey buildings put up in the 1980s, it stands as one of the representatives of the neighborhood's fabric of single-storey houses that had endured since the 1930s.
