Editor's Note
It is one of the most original residential buildings of the early Republican period, created by Hungarian masters. It stands between the Bey Mosque and the oil factory of Filibeli Haci Suleyman Mahdumu. The mansion has a central courtyard, two separate structures on its north and south sides, and a west side enclosed by a wall with tall iron railings. The main residence is two storeys over a basement, while the plain structure to the south is two storeys without a basement. The main building to the north, facing the mosque and the main avenue, is architecturally far more striking. The entrance is here, at the very center of the building, beneath a projecting bay of plaster over brick.
