Editor's Note
See Dr. Ender Özbay, 'Turkish-Period Bridges in the Büyük Menderes, Küçük Menderes, and Gediz Basins' (pp. 367-371). It stands on the caravan road along the Tire-İncirliova route. Today it lies on the Aydın-İzmir provincial border. A bridge providing for motor traffic has been built beside it, and the historic bridge is no longer in use today.
