Although its construction date and to whom it belongs are not known with certainty, in some sources it is called the Tomb of Musa Bey. It is thought to have been built during the Aydınid period. See Mehmet Sami Bayraktar, 'A Historic Building Whose Name Has Been Forgotten in Tire.'
