Editor's Note
Having been recently faced with cladding on the outside, the fountain has lost its original form. Only the mirror stone (ayna taşı) of the fountain on the western side and the inscription upon it can be seen. According to its inscription, it was commissioned in 1240 AH (1825 AD) by Sökelioğlu Hasan Ağa.
