Editor's Note
According to A. Munis Armağan, it was commissioned by Altuncuzade, a famous physician who lived in the reign of Mehmed the Conqueror. Although no concrete evidence has been found for this, its architectural features indicate that it was built during the period in which Altuncuzade lived.
