On the southern slopes of the Taurus range, just below the highland town of Gözne, this ruined castle consists of two relatively intact buildings. The rectangular eastern block carries four bastions and pointed vaults; carvings on the keystones of the hexagonal western building suggest it may have served higher-ranking occupants. The construction technique points to the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia, and the castle is thought to have controlled the road below, serving under Çandır Castle to the north. An Aramaic inscription of five lines, registered in 2021, survives on a rock 750 meters to the south.
