The Saliha Hatun Tomb stands in the cemetery of the town of Topakkaya, on the Aksaray-Ankara highway. The tomb was built after the death of Saliha Hatun, who died in 1293. While it bears no inscription about its construction or builder, the epitaph on the sarcophagus is written in Arabic script. The building has an octagonal plan with a wooden ceiling and a pyramidal cap. It was repaired in 1957-58 and in 1988, and the sarcophagus and headstone were painted with green oil paint. Today it is in a ruined state and is also known locally as the 'Grave of Evliya Hamza Baba.'
