Editor's Note
It stands at the roadside on Atadağ Street in the Musalla neighbourhood, opposite the RO-RO Port, within the registered plot of block 377, parcel 1. With its arched form of cut stone, the fountain stands like a monument, but being outside the settlement it is in a neglected state. Its rear, partly collapsed and damaged, and it bears no inscription. On its front face two protruding metal pipes can be seen, once meant to carry water. As the dry fountain's name is unknown and it stands opposite the quay, it is called the Quay Fountain (İskele Çeşmesi).
