It was built of cut stone in AH 935 / AD 1530. It has a hipped wooden roof, but traces of squinches survive that point to the original covering having been a dome, showing that the building was once domed and only later converted to a hipped roof. Inside the tomb there are three wooden cenotaphs, belonging to Sheikh Dediği Bey of Khorasan, his son Sheikh-i Kebir Taşgun Baba, and a relative of theirs.
