Located northwest of the city center of Konya, about 8 km north of the Ilgın district, on the highway between Gedikören (Navruşik) Village and Yonazlar Village, the Gedikören Mound lies east of Lake Ilgın, within the cemetery area of the same name. Set at a point commanding the area around the lake, the settlement has the character of a medium-sized mound, roughly 10 meters high and 50 meters in diameter.
