Editor's Note
The structure in central Başköy stands on gently sloping ground. There is no inscription giving the mosque's construction date. However, its plan, facade layout and decorative features point to a 18th-19th century date. The building has been repaired over time, and its decorations were renewed by Müslüm Gökçek in 1957. Registered by the Konya Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage in 1991, the building was repaired by the Foundations directorate in the 2000s and remains open for worship today.
