It stands on a hill overlooking the Ilgın plain, 4 km north of Mahmuthisar village. It is known to date from 1341, during the Karamanoğulları period. Nothing is known about the identity of Sungur Bey. Square in plan, it is covered by a dome carried on pendentives. The facades are built of pressed and rough-cut stone with a large amount of reused (spolia) material, while the dome is made of brick. Entry is through a marble-framed door on the north side.
