Its location has been estimated. Kurt Erdmann, who visited the han on 7 June 1956, describes its location as follows: "We headed toward Sandıklı; shortly after passing Dinar we turned right and reached the Karakuyu train station, and from there, after a journey of 4-5 km to the northeast, we came to a rocky outcrop at the foot of the mountain where many springs emerge and form a lake. On the western shore rises a low hill covered with ruins."
