Editor's Note
See Dr. Ender Ozbay - Turkish-Period Bridges in the Buyuk Menderes, Kucuk Menderes, and Gediz Basins (pp. 180-189). Built of cut stone, the bridge is 65 meters long and 4.20 meters wide. It has three round-arched spans. The central arch has a span of 8 meters and a height of 4.10 meters. The side arches are 6.75 meters wide and 3.30 meters high, and the piers are 3.50 meters wide. Triangular cutwaters were built on the south faces of the bridge piers.
