The Sehzadeler Mansion Kitchen is a freestanding kitchen building belonging to the Sehzadeler Mansion, built in the Ottoman period around the late 16th century. The building suffered serious damage during the trench and barricade events that took place in Sur in 2015. Following those events, reconstruction and restoration works were launched in Sur; like many other damaged historic buildings, the Sehzadeler Mansion Kitchen was included in the restoration program. The restoration was carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality's Department of Public Works and Urban Planning and was completed after work lasting about a year.
