In the Sur district of Diyarbakır, the Ali Paşa Madrasa is an Ottoman building named after Hadım Ali Paşa. Dated to around 1600 and attributed to the architect Mimar Sinan, it is one of the courtyard colleges devoted to the learning tradition of the old city.
