The Sheikh Sultan Lodge stands on a slope facing south of the Tigris River, at the third kilometer of the Hasankeyf-Gercus highway. Excavations carried out in 2011 revealed that it consists of a tomb, an iwan, dervish cells, and kitchen and pantry spaces arranged in a U-plan around an inner courtyard.
