The Tabya Hill Cisterns lie within the boundaries of the Hasankeyf district of Batman province, on a high rocky area west of the Zevruney Valley. Nine cisterns have been identified at the site, positioned close to the surrounding dwellings. There are rock-cut water channels connected to the cisterns, and some of the cisterns widen from the mouth toward the bottom. Today the cisterns are no longer in use and have lost their function.
