The Yalınkavak Village Monastery stands near the Beşiri district of Batman province, atop the mountain southwest of the village of Yalınkavak. The monastery survives today largely in ruins, with four sections identified at foundation level. Basalt stone and gypsum mortar were used in its construction, and a small number of ceramic fragments were found in its surroundings. With its historical and structural remains, it represents an important piece of cultural heritage for the region.
