Editor's Note
Church No. 1 of Danalı Village stands in the village of Danalı, in the Beşiri district of Batman province. It survives today largely ruined, at foundation level. The narthex, naos and bema sections of this single-nave church have been identified from traces in the walls. The apse east of the bema is semicircular on the inside and projects outward, and the church is no longer in use today.
