The Hisar Town Church is located in the town of Hisar in the Gercus district of Batman. Built on an east-west axis with a rectangular, three-naved plan, the church is barrel-vaulted on the inside and topped with a flat roof. The arches between the northern nave and the central nave have been blocked with a stone wall, and the apse, the pastophoria chambers and the narthex are in ruins. Cut stone, rubble stone, spolia and gypsum mortar were used in its construction.
