The Arik Hamlet Cemetery lies within the boundaries of Bogozu village in the Gercus district of Batman; it is spread over a wide area and its limits are not clearly defined. The east-west oriented graves are rectangular and oval in plan, most built of cut stone and bearing no inscriptions or ornament. In this neglected cemetery, damage is evident from broken and toppled gravestones.
