The Kaya Mosque lies about 315 m northeast of Oymatas village, within the boundaries of the city of Batman. Running east to west, the building consists of a square-plan entrance room and a rectangular prayer hall. The prayer-hall walls contain niches, ventilation shafts, a minbar and a mihrab. Now damaged, the mosque is used as a storehouse.
