It is located in Selatin Village of the Germencik district. The village lies just above the Aydin-side entrance of the Selatin Tunnel on the Aydin-Izmir motorway. The monumental tree is over 800 years old and is an oriental plane. Its trunk circumference is 8.65 metres, its height is 17.5 metres, and its canopy spread is 35 metres.
