Editor's Note
See Dr. Ender Ozbay - Turkish-Period Bridges in the Buyuk Menderes, Kucuk Menderes and Gediz Basins (pp. 404-412). It was built of cut stone in 1595-96 by Ramazan Pasha over the old bed of the Menderes River. It is 100 metres long and 3.5 metres wide, and lies quite close to the Ortaklar-Soke highway.
