Outside the city, on the road to Tralleis and Magnesia, the ruins of a circular tomb structure and the well-preserved Pollio aqueduct of the Augustan period stand out. The Round Building lies 3.8 km outside Selcuk, on the east side of the road, within an olive grove opposite the small restaurant at the entrance to Yenikoy. It was a monopteros standing on a podium about 1.80 m high with a bench running all the way around, probably containing a burial chamber; it had six columns with Corinthian capitals, with statues set between them.
