It is located within the boundaries of the Sille neighborhood in the Selçuklu district of Konya. Built in the Byzantine period, the church remained in use through the changes it underwent in the late Ottoman era. While it contains wall paintings dating to the 9th and 10th centuries, these were whitewashed over by interventions carried out in the 20th century. It is no longer in use today.
