It stands in the southwestern corner of the Kara Kemal Cemetery, on Kumocağı Street in the Gül Bahçe neighborhood of the Meram district. Registered as a cultural asset requiring protection on 13 November 1982 under registry number A-3861, the tomb belongs to the General Directorate of Foundations. Neither its inscription nor its endowment deed has survived. The site where it stands, however, was the celebrated Durunday, famous in the Seljuk era for its rose and tulip gardens, and known today as the Lale Bahçe quarter. The part that allows the tomb to be dated is the burial crypt where the sarcophagus rests.
