Kilistra, also known as Lystra, is an ancient city in the Meram district of Konya, within the bounds of the present-day Kilistra neighbourhood (formerly named Gökyurt). Mentioned six times in the New Testament, it was visited several times by Paul the Apostle together with Barnabas or Silas, and it was here that Paul met his young disciple Timothy.
