The Erenkaya Yikik Han (Ruined Caravanserai) lies on the Konya-Seydisehir caravan road, 44 km from Konya and 4 km from the village of Erenkaya. A large part of the modern Konya-Antalya highway now follows the old route, which has become the new caravan road for buses descending to Alanya, erasing all its traces. This road was developed by the Seljuks as a new route extending southwest from the bustling capital of Konya. The caravanserai lies in a valley on the slope of a high hill, with its southern section at a higher level and its northern section at a lower level.
