Editor's Note
The Siirt Clock Tower stands east of the Great Mosque of Siirt. The original tower, commissioned by Alaaddin Pasha in 1905, collapsed over time, and the present structure was built in 1975. Built of two-colored cut stone, it sits in the park in front of the Siirt Governor's Office.
