Editor's Note
The Nasrettin Bridge stands on the Siirt-Kurtalan route, on the Başur Stream that flows into the Botan Stream. A sloping-roadway bridge with five pointed arches, it was completely restored in 1952 and lost most of its original features. Built of smooth cut stone, the bridge has brick in its arches. Its roadway is 140 m long and 6 m wide. The bridge has lost its original character and now lies beneath the waters of the Ilısu Dam reservoir.
