The Çalışkan Village Mosque, in the center of Çalışkan village in the Gercüş district of Batman province, is a rectangular building running east to west. Consisting only of the prayer hall, the mosque is barrel-vaulted and covered with an earthen roof. Built of cut stone, rubble stone, and gypsum mortar, it is today largely in ruins, with serious damage especially to its east and west walls and its roof.
