Editor's Note
Serin Village Church stands on a hill about 1 km south of Serin village in the Gercüş district of Batman province. Built on a north-south axis with a wide rectangular plan and a single nave, the church is now largely in ruins. Its roof and outer walls have completely collapsed, leaving the walls standing only at foundation level. The surviving traces show that the apse was a semicircle projecting outward.
