Editor's Note
Hanlı Village Church stands in the village of Hanlı in the Beşiri district of Batman province. Now largely ruined, the church's narthex, naos, and apse sections can still be made out. The naos is domed on the inside, and the apse is semicircular with small niches. Cut stone, rubble stone, and gypsum mortar were used in its construction, while some of the mudbrick is thought to have been added during later repairs.
