It lies 7 km from the town of Çatak, on what was once a caravan route running all the way down to Mosul. The southeast end of the bridge connects to the Narlı-Çatak asphalt road. Brick, cut stone, rubble, slab stone, and lime mortar were used in its construction. The deck, which slopes down to both sides from the center, is 45.5 m long and 4.84 m wide. The single-arched bridge stands 14.22 m high with an arch span of 17.5 m. A room on the right side of the downstream face is entered through a doorway 1 m wide.
