In the Dualar neighbourhood of Nazilli, Hasan Hüseyin Bey, the father-in-law of Demirci Mehmet Efe, had this mosque built in 1950 for his daughter Ayşe. Six years after the mosque opened for worship, on 22 June 1956, Demirci Mehmet Efe's wife Ayşe Hanım had a minaret built by a master named Hacı Arap, whom she brought from the Karacasu district, and gave the mosque her father's name, Hasan Hüseyin. The mosque door and its madder-dye painted decorations are especially striking.
