Editor's Note
The fountain beside the Eskihisar 1 Bridge was built using spolia stone and brick. In the trough of this niche-shaped fountain with a pointed stone arch, a fragment of a sarcophagus has been reused as spolia. To its right are watering troughs for caravans. The surrounding wall remains give the impression that there may also have been an open-air prayer space (namazgâh) here.
